Repairtech Inc. has gone out of business leaving thousands of customers without coverage for items purchased from retailers.

Retailers that sold Repairtech’s Photographic Warranties to their customers have enrolled in our program that is designed to help their customers that own Repairtech’s Photographic Warranties.

The Warranty Resolution Center has been setup to assist the hundreds of thousands of Repairtech customers from all over the country that have purchased Photographic Equipment and are left without warranty coverage.

    The Warranty Resolution Center is partnered with Southern Photo Service Center regarding all repairs of photographic equipment.

    Southern Photo was established in 1948 and is Factory Authorized Service Center for all major brands of photographic equipment. Southern Photo is a Flagship Factory Authorized Service Center and was a major Repairtech service center. When Repairtech closed their doors, Southern Photo was left with thousands of dollars in unpaid Repairtech bills.

The repair process:
Warranty holders will receive an email with a repair number and instuctions to send their cameras to Southern Photo Technical Service, with a copy of the proof of purchase and copy of their RepairTech Warranty certificate. (All shipments must have a repair number) Southern Photo examines the camera equipment and documents to insure the equipment qualifies for the warranty services needed. The warranty resolution center contacts and negotiates a repair cost settlement with the retailer at substantially reduced cost to reduce their cost and the cost to the customers. The equipment is repaired by Southern Photo Service Center and a 6 month repair warranty is supplied by Southern Photo, the repaired equipment is returned to the warranty holder.
